it says devils den, but it was actually in the national forest. devils den dont have bears at the campsites like razorlax007 says. ive been goin there 20 years and I aint ever seen one in the park. maybe it was a different devils den.

A bear that walks into a camp is a predatory bear. That means it was considering eating you. You should always carry bear spray, and you should have reported this dangerous incident to a ranger immediately.

Don't kill them they will not hurt you as long as you don't piss one off. They are use to us they just want food. Not alot of the black bears left in Arkansas its cool to see one.

I was a Devil's Den a few days ago and we had bears at camp every night we were there. The bears hung out from about mid-night to 4 or 5 in the morning. They got into the trash cans by the bathrooms and had a trail of McDonalds. I think the bears are probably used to humans.
