Very good sound. Must be an electricalally processed disc. I have always been amazed by this song. Was he referring to Paul Whiteman?

Yes, actually Paul Whiteman co-wrote this song.

@laceup1967 - Whiteman commissioned this song to be arranged by Don Redman. Redman rehearsed the Whiteman band exhuastively for THEIR recording. The Henderson version you are listening to however, from May, 1927 is clearly superior.

Thank you for the extra information. I agree that this version is far superior. I my view, Henderson's was a superior band anyway. However, my research shows that this was recorded in May not November. Which sources are you using?
