Yakuza 3 (known in Japan as Ryū ga Gotoku 3 (龍が如く3, Ryū ga Gotoku 3?)) is the third installment in the Yakuza video game series. Unlike Yakuza: Kenzan!, which was a spinoff, this latest installment will continue the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza and Yakuza 2. The game will take place both in fictional Kamuro-cho from the first two games and in Okinawa. The game will be released in Japan on February 26, 2009, exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
