This recording was certified by the RIAA music industry association in December 2009 at 25 million copies sold world wide. Naturally, with December 2011 just around the corner it will most certainly be as much as 30 million. You can verify the sales at RIAA.com search under "Certifications." I will be receiving a Platinum Record Award in January 2012 for my work on this song.

Mine came true July 7th, 2011. Attended concert at Casino Rama, Ontario, Canada. And was very fortunate to be able to meet him personally. He is a great and caring man, besides an outstanding performer and romantic. He speaks the universal language through song -- love!

My mom introduced me to his music when she bought his first german record.

I worked with Julio as a session singer in Los Angeles on this recording. It took a year to complete this song to his satisfaction back in 1987-88. As of December 2009 it has since sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The group of singers here also performed on Michael Jackson's "Man In The Mirror" and Madonna's "Like A Prayer."
