This is Tyson, the German Shepherd Wonder Dog. In this video, Tyson is eating a dish of cooked rice with some soy sauce for flavoring and about 1/2 pound of raw sliced pork. It's dish that is served warm and I make sure the rice has cooled so he doesn't burn his mouth. He goes for the meat first, then eats the rice later. He seems to enjoy it.

If you listen carefully, just after the 0:25 second point, right at 30 seconds, just after he swallows a large portion of the meat, he makes a gagging type sound. Probably because he didn't chew it properly, he just swallows it. Crazy dog.

Regarding the camera, it was the motorola droid, youtube quality, on auto, and you can see it is hunting between night and day. The video was taken on an overcast day at 9am, plenty of light, but camera still hunting.

  • @himfizzle91 Tyson is now around 11-12 years old. The average age German Shepherds die at is around 10 so he's getting to the point where he could live another few years or die. I'm thankful that he has no major health matters other than the ligament damage to his knees. I've gone through this before with many other dogs and that is you take them for granted, then one day something goes wrong with their health. So for now, all his systems are "Good to Go, Ready to Launch."

  • @himfizzle91 Tyson has major knee ligament problems. He's medically retired from play. His right knee has a 3rd degree Cranial Cruciate Ligament tear (completely torn). His left knee I believe is damaged also. His knees are very unstable. Just the slightest movement backwards or sideways in the wrong direction, and his rear legs collapse from under him and he falls on his butt. Other than the knee matters, he's fine. He eats well, barks and pulls when he see's other dogs, those are good signs.

  • Has Tyson gotten any better? Everytime I see an uploaded video im happy to see the wonder dog in action! I hope he's gotten better. Take care
