im using my Gibson 1984 Explorer Re-Issue and my ESP LTD EC-1000
no amp, plugged right in to the computer using line 6 guitar port

@Tyskmetal its relatively the same, i'm gonna say explorer because that's what I learned on and I've played it more but i'm still perfectly comfortable with the LTD

@JAB0NK0 Cause i'm gonna choose between the Epiphone LP Custom and The Epiphone Explorer 1984 EX. I don't know...

My bandmate dosen't like the explorer body but it has EMG 81/85 and the LP got Alcino i think (pardon me if not).

Right now i have a Schecter Damien Elite (C shape) and i love it but want to try s new shape.

@Tyskmetal I've always played les paul's and explorers and love them both, but bottom line it's what YOU like most. for example I will always take active pickups over passive's but i know people who wouldnt touch an active. but I've never been an epiphone guy ha, my advice is to save up and buy a gibson, you wont regret it in the future
