Very true. Israeli invasion forces are called soldiers. Palestinian defenders are called "Hamas militants". In Iraq, common Iraqi people who objected to being invaded and occupied were called "Insurgents". The media carefully choses these terms to sway public opinion.
Makes you think of the movie, Red Dawn. Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen would be considered "Insurgents" by the occupiers, the Soviets. Yet we cheered for these insurgents to beat their occupiers.
