World Backgammon Championships 2005 presented by Kara Scott

The World final 2005 from Monte Carlo, Dennis Carlston USA v John O'Hagan USA. Carlston from the old school of backgammon and a legend of the 70s game, was barred from the world's casinos in the 60s for card counting. O'Hagan a recent covert to backgammon and a devotee of Snowie A.I, (aka "Snowie clone", i.e. someone who mimics the plays of Snowie). Carlston is behin 10-14, this is one of the crucial games from the final. Finale will be uploade shortly...

Paul Magriel is some kind of BG "god". I've met him, and even been lucky enough to play ( and win!) a short match or two online when he was a.k.a. X-22. For all he did for the game, most serious players know of him and make allowances.
