@MrHaikuist John divizio played Kano in MK1 and MK3 I guess since the graphics where better he looks a little different thats all, John also was the actor for Quan-Chi in MK mythologies and MK4.

Can someone explain? In the character selection screen it shows MK3 Kano but he ends up fighting MK1 Kano? Was this just in this version of the game?
