No hunting rifle is one of the best weapons in New Vegas dude. I can kill anyone or anything with that weapon if I use the alien gun it does crap for me.

@bryce251 whats it to matter there in different areas. They are probably in different years too.

alien blaster doesnt have 100% critical chance because i tried it on regular enclave and took 2 hits to kill

Alien blaster can't be the best gun. Ammo for it is scarce.

@ASickTrick Yea, its called ther "Terrible Shotgun" you get it from a special raider.

@EpowerFTW This is probably being measured by general fighting. Accuracy reload rate, damage. Even though the Gauss rifle does loads of damage, it has only one shot each clip. Which sucks for CQC. The Chinese Assault Rifle on the other hand has a large enough clip, pretty good damage and accuracy, and reloading in the middle of a fight won't fuck you up.
