The trebuchet named T-Wrecks hurls a 600 lb. full-sized upright piano over 450 feet downrange. This is a Floating Arm Trebuchet, F.A.T. for short. A 1/12 scale model of this machine is available at www.Trebuchet.com

  • I love the engineering on this 'floating arm' version. The weight falls directly downwards fully utilising gravity and not wasting potential energy in any unnecessary movement.

Well done guys. A lot of hard work and good entertainment value. I'd love to see this thing launch a car...

  • needs to be on =3 !!

  • Since the ammunition was a piano does that make this artillery piece an "88"?

  • Why the h*** did they have to hurl a piano?!?!? Such a waste! Still, awesome!!!!!

  • completely fckn AWESOME !!!

  • I love the cheering!

  • Cave Johnson would be proud... if it were a 600 lb flaming lemon.

  • The F.A.T. for short? So by the time of Fallout 3, this machine will be innovated and turned handheld and made into the Fatman? lol

  • A noteworthy launching.

  • One question: how heavy was the counterweight for this launch?
