This is definitely Alan, just before he hit his first record deal. Maybe he was experimenting with vocal stylings up until he decided on the one he has today?

Why does Alan sound so different in the New Traditional album than his other ones; even thought his more famous ones came out just a few years later? You can definitely hear aspects of this that you cannot mistake for anyone other than Alan.
