Today guys, I will share a good way to make money in Dragon Quest IX

Infinite gold using alchemy

Requirements:
Boat
Access to Batsureg, Port Llaffan and Slurry Quay
Money to start the cycle, the more the better.

1. Using Zoom, go to store each of these cities and purchase the following items

1 Fur Hood [Slurry Quay, 550g]
A Bunny Tail [Port Llaffan, 240g]
A lambswool [Batsureg Settlement, 180g]

More is better, buy one of each so that it has the same amount of each (X).

2. Zoom to Stornway between the INN and use the Alchemy Pot, do X Ear Cosy (helm) using the materials we bought, it only makes 9 but you can repeat the process until you have 99

3. Zoom to Laffan Port, Ear cosies sale all you did and repeat the process from the beginning.

Considerations:
Price of materials to make an Ear Cosy is 970g, a Cosy Ear sells for 1200g, so it is 230g profit by selling Cosy Ear, Ear cosies 22 770 for 99 sold.

@puttie30 If I'm not mistaken, I just did what You saw in the video. I mean, I followed everything that was in the tutorial (that is in the description too), and then the recipe automatically showed up in my recipe book >_>

does it have to be 99 because i only have enough to make 75 of each

@Electric194 You can make 75, then after that you can increase the number of earcosies, til you reach 99 :3

i just thought i would mention that you make more gold by selling gold armors, by selling 99 of the youre making around 35000 profit each time and you also get the ingredients earlier in the game as well as in less trips, so i prefer that.

ingredients : gold ring(porth llafan), gold bracer(porth llafan) and silver mails (bloomingdales)

The easiest way to get money is to go to batsureg, go northeast to the poison swamp. Look along the bottom of the swamp and you should find 5 pieces of my mythrill ore. Sell those for 12k in total. Rinse and repeat once ores respawn

i haven't gotten to that last place yet... where else do i get lambswoll? cuz I've only JUST beat that leviathan whale thing and used the ferry.

i did the math and to buy 1 of all the things to make the cozy you would have to have 970 coins by selling the cozy u get ur money back plus a total of 230 coins.

going by chaoticmonekeyify's theory it would take 4570 to buy 1 of all the ingredints. the armor sells for 4900 your profit is 330.

my brain hurts :P

@Conkermeister2011 if you have access to gleeba go to the trench in the bottom right of the map the gold golems give u 505 gold coins.

I have a treasure map with a giantic golden gem at the deep floors (forgot the name) and for every kill u get 10080 coins so i was hunting them for 2 hours and now im pretty rich

btw my team has got 1 sage and 3 berserkers and i pretty own the shit out of this game
