SENCO, patronising teachers and me

Of course being an aspie meant I was put on the SEN "special education needs" register in highschool (not primary though, I wasn't diagnosed until near the end of year 6). These are my good and bad (mostly bad) experiences with the SEN squad. Don't ask about the last bit, I was just being stupid.

I might make a video response about my school's SEN department.

They have issues with confidentiality(not as bad as yours though) and patronising.

TBH though I have basically no support now from SEN so IDK if there's much point me responding.

But yeah, that must have sucked.

A lot of the contact I had with SENCO was through my friend. There was only one teacher there I liked, I added him as a facebook friend actually. I forgot to mention in year 11 they were giving out certificates for people who did well in various subjects, and my friend got one and the teacher said "this one's for *name* from the special needs department" I'm glad he wasn't in at the time, other people were wispering because they knew they shouldn't have read it out

I have similar issues at my school. The SEN are so annoying and patronising. The confidentiality isn't such a problem though.
