  • They elected him because Nagin was a fucking crooked criminal.

  • @therepublicanknight How did Obama get elected in a country that's only 15% black?

  • @theblue64 Many people who live in the Garden District pronounce New Orleans with that extra syllable. There are several ways to pronounce the name of the city. But before we judge his administration prematurely, let's give him a chance. Don't forget, he's having to grapple with an $80 million deficit Nagin left. I think he'll be a good mayor but let's wait to have this conversation 3 years from now.

  • Wait a second how did this guy get elected in a city that is over 60% black?

I guess blacks voted for him because he's BLACK. Nuff said.

  • Mitch Landrieu can't even pronounce New Orleans. It's New Orlenz. He spent some of his life in Washington D.C. and didn't just stick in Louisiana, so he's going to bring a non-corrupt government to New Orleans. Ray Nagin is just an idiot, 'nuff said. He can't fucking be a mayor for shit. It's 2010 and New Orleans is still not in the right path. Someone who actually knows politics who didn't win in a landslide election who's been wanting this job for years after attempts is gonna help us.

  • NOT a Chocolate New Orleans? the blackies r sure gonna be angry now.

  • Things sure ARE looking up for New Orleans. They just won the Super Bowl. Good for them!

  • When I heard his victory speech, I forgot for a whole hour that he was white!

  • Blacks can't govern. 'Nuff said.

  • Things are looking up for New Orleans
