I moved to the US from Jamaica at age 9 and could not possibly imagine competing internationally for the US instead of Jamaica but that's MY CHOICE. I respect Sanya and respect HER CHOICE to run for the US though I would have stayed YAAD !! Well, we are both University of Texas grads and both BORN & RAISED in Jamaica so mi big her up same way. She nyam offa de same yam hill weh mek Usain fast so is all good :-)

I can c y sanya chooses to represent the us. u knw its the us system that's molded her and given her that platform. so i can understand but lord.. i've never really heard her at any time say some thing gud or 'bad' about her home country JA, its as if she has totally wiped every memory of JA from her mind, and i undrstnd that she left while in her teens so... not a hater i like her. but ppl wat ever you do in life neva forget ur roots its an anchor. a plant without roots?..
