For a little while in the mid 80's Gerry worked as a mini-cab driver in West Hampstead between drumming jobs. He is a really nice bloke and completely unassuming. "I do a bit of drumming now and then", he told me after he had had a couple of nights off to lay down tracks for "Crest Of A Knave" !!

Thanks so much for this. Really good quality which makes a change. I've been looking for more close up work of Peter John Vettese with Jethrto Tull for ages. This has really made my day. Great to see Gerry Conway as well doing some phenomenal percussion work. Really great little clip this, a proper gem. Thank you again!

I love ELP too but it wasn't TULL. Never should have fired Barry Barlow, John Evan and David Palmer.

Really good rock work, considering Gerry is folk drumer. I like these guys from Fairport as Dave Pegg, Dave Mattacks, Swarb etc

I had this concert on tape in the 80's. Been looking for this solo for years. Thanks. Damn this guy is good.
Drummer is Gerry Conway. Not Barriemore.
