  • Hi Sneeky, Gr8 work. I was a Windows user before, starts Linux n specially Linux Puppy after seeing ur videos , I have a question, I just installed Lagacy OS 2 on my old Pentium-III, 1 Ghz, 512 MB ram, 8 GB Ext2 file system, made a SWAP partition of 510 MB, every thing works fine but the problem is now that my SWAP partition is not working and always shows 0 mb. what should I do to fix this problem? Looking for ur quick Response. Best Regards

  • @umair4a1 can you run gparted and show me a screenshot?

  • I sorta wish this OS was based of a Wary version instead of using such an old kernel....one thing I dislike the most about legacy OS is the network tool for accessing wifi. Its confusing and does not cover either of my two pcmcia wifi cards. Otherwise, a masterpiece on older desktop computers.

  • @Indy452 you could try a pet.file first mate, just hope it does the nan nan eeeyyy

  • I have an old IBM Thinkpad R31 Type 2656 126MB currently running XP. Do you think this Linux will run on my laptop?

  • @umair4a1 Perhaps your swap is not needed on your machine for daily usage ;) Swap space is only in use when your RAM fills up.

  • I have 800MHz, with 512M RAM, what would be the fastest distro for this, that looks reasonable (DSL, puppy not).

Bodhilinux seems good, can't install Joli OS (no USB boot)

  • Hi Sneeky ! Kindly give me ur email ID pls so I can send the subject Screenshot to you again, if u havent recieved yet please.
