My guitar professor, Dr. Amos (Eastern Michigan University faculty), suggested that I view some performances of the Scarlatti Sonata I was working on. I viewed Eliot Fisk, John Williams, Pepe Romero, and David Russel. Honestly I was most impressed with Fisk's imitation of harpsichord timbre and baroque style. As far as bashing my education, which I find a little rude, you should really correct your spelling (especially that of composers you look up to) before commenting on my intellect.

He has a certain characteristic style. He is his own man and there is no doubt that he is a brilliant player.

i really really like some of his ideas and admire him as a guitarist but sometimes i find his playing quite noisy n unstable!<<

Goodness gracious, why does everybody bash this guy so much??? He is a fine musician, and he does his part to further advance education & appreciation for the guitar in this world. What exactly pisses everybody off about this guy? I (as a musician of 30 years) look at him & I feel emotion from his performances that I do not see in a vast majority of players. I simply find this guy amazing in his dedication to the art.
