I began looking at pornography when I was 12. I didnt come to know the lord until 16, but 4 years had done its damage...I kicked lust and porn for 2 years, no porn, no masturbation. Then I got self righteous, conceited, and God made me stumble upon it by accident again, and now its been 5 years and I cant kick it. i want to to be a missionary in Chile, but I am the same as St. Augustine, held back by lust. God Help me, I hate myself, but one bad, stressful day and I blow it all. Save me lord

At the end of Psalm 51 David asks that God would use his brokenness to teach others about Christ's love! how its crazy that he's willing to save wretches like you or I. Because he HAS. just keep fighting. And don't fight with your own sheer will power, fight by drowning out those fleshly desires with a Joy 1000+ times more enjoyable! >>> Christ

After a year I came back to watch this video and have been blown away by it once again. Augustine's writing is amazing. "For in an instant, as I came to the end of the sentence, it was as though the light of confidence flooded my heart, and all the darkness of doubt was dispelled."

@AgApE010 because that's become a stereotypical way of reading the bible in christian circles. it didnt do anything to the "mood" the truth and emotion in what was written is still there....

We all go through this problem, well at least most of us, Jesus help us all, remember when God forgives our sin, he forgets it as well...dont believe the lies the enemy tries to feed you, accept Jesus's Blood to wash you clean, he's forgiven you if you have repented,,,now forgive yourself.
