this program is s**t. the [movie].nfo doesn't work. xbmc crashes when scraping. so that means I can't create information for the library. Why XBMC why? why crash? why would EMM not create any nfos with the correct names? f**k this s**t I'm going Boxee and Media Portal.

@martinboson both are old builds of xbmc boxee is made up of 90 xbmc code and media portal is very old xbmc code all in all your doing it wrong xbmc is the business hands down

Don't listen to this guy about the filenaming. Keep the original realese name, that way it's alot easier to find subtitles and otherwise Ember wont be able to recognize the source, instead of DVD, Bluray and such it will just say a questionmark, not nice!

@feggak download the latest verson of showmix go to the xbmc forums and you will find showmix there is now a auto download subs built into showmix

You said earlier in one of your videos, you no longer use Showmix- what do you use now? Aeon?

Do you know of any good sites for backdrops?

Do you control your XBMC with a wireless K/M or remote?

Please keep making more videos...There are a life saver :-)

@GTAHH At the moment i use aeon65 but a new mod is coming out today that i will be using all downloads and backdrops can be found at thegeekstreet any other backdrops i just google hd wallpapers or if they media just get them from the tvdb. i use a logitech universal remote and a ipod touch to control xbmc

Hey, Thanks for posting a series of helpful videos on XBMC. Its much appreciated. I am in the process of sorting through all my movies and creating a media center, except I have a mac. Originally I was going to rename every file and folder, but i heard scraping and getting .nfo's was much easier. I was wondering if you had an suggestions on what to do since ember wouldn't run on mac.
