  • Thanks for this lesson. The way you showed that move in different angles are impressive. I've been doing BJJ for three months and I get fustrated when I forget moves. I'm also in my forties but nonetheless I can hang with 20 and 30 year olds. I'm also building a grappling dummy so I can practice these moves and the one I learn in class. Thanks again and keep them coming.

  • @mikev4155 thanks for the feedback!

  • learn how to do this correctly and you will develop excellent triangle defense. I've seen Royce do this easily to high level black belts

  • Is this the same simple gaurd pass in Judo? Its hard to find Judo stuff...its annoying...

  • @Procrastinater09 not sure but i would guess so. I've done exactly 0 judo classes

  • dude your vids are awesome, im still waiting on that knee bar from half guard :D thanks for the uploads!!

  • @admbjj Thanks man!! I'll try and get that up for you soon. Been busy with the holidays and trying to time the launch of the website with the new year and all. Safe training.

    Jay

  • @stevenlikescricket

not really because the guy on bottom would have to pin your arm/shoulder against your neck to cut the blood off on both sides but with this technique he cant do that cuz the guy ontops arm is too far back

  • I think the reason a triangle wouldn't be successful is because he doesn't extend his elbow past the pelvis

  • Awesome set up for side control. Now I found a new way to get a twister.

    Thanks man.
