@vlmmosto Errrr....Megadeth sing mostly about politics and personal issues and have done so forever. You don't know much about them, do you? Slayer are loved and respect because of their songwriting, live intensity and coherence through the years, their lyrics, which are often surprisingly poetic focus on the darker side of life, but they're hardly about "monsters". You sound like someone who got into Metallica when "Load" came out, "hardcore fan" my ass. You're not fooling anyone.

This sounds like a fake. A rather well done cover. Having said that, I think if you put your hard work and soul into a song, You can keep it with you when you leave, and if the band you leave behind also put work into it (cowrote), they also have every right to perform it. Hell, even one or the other didn't write, the song has become a part of them regardless, and if you weren't a self-absorbed dickhead, you would be flattered if the other party still wanted to perform the song you wrote.

once you write with the band,the songs stay in the band,you can't just take

the songs with you,if that were true than marty friedman should have also

takin the songs he wrote for megadeth with him,or any other old megadeth member

that hade any part in the writing of their songs.whatever is writen in metallica

or megadeth,stays in metallica and megadeth,that's how it works with any other

band in the world.

@vlmmosto is that what metallica told you? they changed the lyrics because they sucked ass? they told me they did it because they felt slightly bad for stealing someone elses shit but then went ahead and did it anyway. i dont care what band you are talking about....if you take someone elses song and try to make it your own, you lose credit.
