As stated by Albert Einstein, "science without religion is lame", which is to say, that science, unguided by religion, cannot proceed correctly, but rather, wastes much time in achieving results, and worse, is often inconclusive. Islam is a religion of reason that encourages science. The Quran is NOTHING to the Holy Bible, and teaches a completely different Jesus. My Jesus died for my sins on the cross. The Quran's Jesus never died on the cross. The Quran's Jesus was probably born in Mexico. My Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Israel, died on the cross in Jerusalem., and was raised from the dead on the 3rd day. Islam is a false religion, Allah is a false god, and Muhammad was a false prophet.

Yeah, I love how it ends with that broad stroke about "that 19 century fraud materialism" whether or not these men believed in god is immaterial to the fact that in most of their cases, they would not even have been able publish as avowed atheists or anything but believers. Whether you are a believer or not, this video has an agenda and the very end shows it to be a rubbish one.

Science is basically the study of Gods work.

Imperfection, natural selection, adaption of life forms, evil, goodness are all part of Gods creation, and thus science.

The point of the video for you atheists is to refute atheistic claims that believing in God disqualifies a man from being a scientist. As you can see many scientists believed and helped move the world forward through science. More and more scientists are seeing the foolishness of Macro-evolution and realizing that there had to be an intelligent cause for our universe. Since it is not infinite, it had to be created with purpose, and that my friends is our eternal soul. That is what I believe.

Who knows what those scientists believed? Atheism, during the time of people like Newton and Kepler, was *punishable*! Politics shapes history; the spirit of the age, the zeitgeist, is very influential upon the interpretation of history, and what might seem so based upon literature may be an entirely inaccurate evaluation of those events. We will never know whether they truly believed or not.

God is a fiction. Anyone who spent their childhood rocking back and forth in a maddrassa, chanting the Quran and brainwashing themselves, cannot now say they have any ability to reason about it. Being a Christian who has accepted the Buddha as well as Christ, I am interested in the Qur'an and Islam, but I haven't made my mind up about it. The one thing that I cannot accept under any circumstances is people insulting ANY religion.
