The SUB-2000 is a great little folding carbine for SHTF, keeping in a truck or car trunk, survival applications, etc. Most people think the plastic sights look cheap, but are surprised at how well they work. The accuracy and terminal ballistics are both far superior to what can be achieved shooting the same ammo from a pistol.
Kel-Tec makes a clip-on stock extension that centers the front sight for more reliable folding, and it helps a lot with the felt recoil.
