Craig Gass impersonates Sam Kinison at Carolines on Broadway

This was a Jim Brewer comedy show broadcast live on Sirius sattelite radio in 2006. Also in the video is Artie Lange and other comedians. I was there with High Pitch Eric from the Howard Stern show and was seated right up front.

I think Craig Gass is going to be THE #1 impressionist someday. Why? Because many people don't know this, but Craig's family was deaf. He was the only one who had normal hearing, so it was so easy to pick up on voices because of this. These were his words in several interviews that i've seen. I am waiting for some new stuff from Craig. His Gene Simmons Roast performance was incredible!! He can sound JUST LIKE Gene Simmons, and also, he does a GREAT Paul Stanley. He's incredible!!!

@wecj3381 In Sam's performance so many years ago, which i have on my hard drive, Sam pronounced Jesus as "Jee-suhs". It sounds sorta like Craig is saying "Jee-Sis." That's the difference. Other than that, it's almost a dead-on Kinison.

@purseonal2010 Hey man, i agree completely. I think the voice is there 100%, what's missing is the flow that Sam had. No one could deliver it and mean it like Kinison did. But this is still awesome!

He does a great impression of Sam, but there's something missing. It's still 95% there! Nobody can do a PERFECT impression of anyone. He's close. So's Frank Caliendo at his stuff. Dana Carvey is close. Rich Little is close. Famed Sportscaster Roy Firestone is close.
