The Dionaea 'Fused Tooth' cultivar looks like any other standard Venus Fly Trap in the beginning of the season, however towards the middle and end of the season the plant develops fewer spines on it's traps, which then look like a "webbing" is formed between the teeth (spines), thus giving this cultivar it's name of 'Fused Tooth'.

  • Your find that this happens in late summer... When I took these photo's I did not have the means to take a video, and I was not involved in youtube as I a now. But since I had the high quality photo's to show you I thought to put this into a slide show for everyone's benefit.
