  • you ever get this fixed? mayb pull the codes prob somethin unrelated and electronic.

  • @koston240life It was the throttle body. My friend adjusted the nut on it and it caused the throttle plate to be more open than it should at idle, that is why the RPMs acted like they did. It was a simple fix!

    you can put parts together from any year 240sx there all interchangeable im doing a 5 speed swap on my 91 240sx and all the parts are from a 89 240sx

  • so was it just the throttle plate thats causing a high RPM?

  • so in order to do a auto to manual tranny swap u need a doner car the same make and model just manual? or is it possible to take any manual transmission and make it fit with the appropriate parts?

  • would it be hard to do this swap on an 08 import car if I bring it to a professional shop and have them help me do it?
