  • Wow I really need to work on this.

  • That is very true! If I was an employer and had somebody in my office doing "like like um um y'know etc" I would be extremely frustrated.

  • so true

  • Need more practice; I can't get rid of my fillers! This is what I said: "that's a great question...uh..."

  • this guy is awsome

  • amazing thanks

  • Our president says "Um" or "Uhhhhh" so many times in interviews that it is distracting!

I think charisma is an interview skill to have as well.

  • english is not my 1st language so when i am in an interview, i kinda use fillers ..well, thank you brian for the tip..

  • nice tip

  • good advice I um and err too much in interviews so I think its sometimes better to be silent for a second while you think like you said. The probelm I find is that in an interview they can ask you one of a thousand questions if i had a pound for every interview i had i would be very rich

  • Awesome tip! Thanks Brian

  • such as... sounds a lot better than "um like this one time"
