Were getting out of Dodge too.. I don't feel free anymore.. Grew up in the country, time to go back.. Bought some land, and going to pull an RV out there and start building my homestead. You can do it too man.

Go for it! It will be hard work and addictive. We call it Rent to Own down here in Missouri. Here you have to have a good legal contract, do a title search like a normal purchase and you have to have a deed with the owner as the financier. That way the person you are renting from cannot use the property for collateral after you have made the agreement and then you take the chance of loosing it. I am not an attorney, I am a Preacher, but I think you should go for it. Sounds great.
