This is a temperate rain forest located in the Olympic Peninsula.
You can see the Roosevelt elk at the beginning of this vid. Wait till you see those antlers in the fall.
Later - a banana slug endemic to the Olympic Peninsula.
The Hoh River, nursing logs, cedars and many more beautiful and unique sites of this rain forest.

  • Thank you - this is a lovely video of our great wild Olympics area. We can help protect it by visiting the Wild Olympics Campaign website.

  • @greywulff2008 Thank you for your comment and for the Wild Olympics Campaign. I am glad to know that there is an organized group of people who take action on protecting our Olympic Peninsula. After a quick glance it appears to be the place for me. Maybe together we can create a "no fly zone" over the Peninsula or limit commercial traffic on 101. Many ideas come to mind.
