Gun sales skyrocketed last year, causing the demand for ammunition to also increase. But, as KFDAs Jeff Todd reports, Texas police precincts and local businesses are now facing an ammo shortage.

  • It's not supply and demand in the market place, you moron! It's a "gov't first" grab for all the available ammuntion, so no private individual will be able to get any, and it's the devaluation of your currency, so the cost of what's left will be absurdly expensive!

They deliberately intend to disarm the citizens of the U.S., ONE WAY OR THE OTHER, and then they fully intend to put you and your family in the poor house, so you can't fight back. Wake up, you naive bunch of dumbasses!

  • if you need jobs or money in your state make ammo and sell it open Factories. it could put Thousends of people to work and fix the economy in your town or help it the goverment knows this but why wont they do any thing THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hummerskickass or as criminals, not to mention

  • i hate how they always protray gun owners as red necks

  • @atnipjoe ammo factories are expensive (not exactly shovel-ready investments) and any investment in weapons and ammo has no long term future (the boom will end, and then, ammo companies will noticed that they've lost a lot of money in useless and expensive production lines).

  • @BigRedMcCool nonsense. Its a combination of increase in commodity prices (china using more metals, etc) and hoarding by absurd paranoid gun-freaks. Many ammo types are scarce in the current situation because normally their demand is low and ammo manufacturers who produce them do not see any reason for an expensive retooling of their production lines to allow for greater output because this demand hike wont last.

  • @BigRedMcCool I thought it would be because we couldn't mine the materials fast enough, since I heard copper was running low and crap, at the rate we mine metal.

  • WE NEED MORE AMMO!

  • @fishnkid1923 doesn't matter whos pres moron they want your soul after they taxyou ass to shit go ahead get that 30 year mortgage it's a jail sentance wake up you comment removed.

  • Over Draw what are you freeking kidding , HAHA they make you count each round ahhh Id gun powder next ahhhaha. That jack ass thought he'd be shot. And cut off all ammo up here while Our pizza guys get held up @ gun point this shits gonna blow up in his face.

  • I think people should worry less about hoarding ammunition when they think the government is going to enact stricter laws, and hoard ammunition when they think other people will think the government will enact stricter laws and beat those people to the punch. Anyone understand that?

  • @godscuttingyoudown I don't think youtube has spell check. People are misspelling words all the time and it's not picking it up.
