I usually buy my computer's (((used))) from Craigslist, so they usually never come with a manual dude. So, NOW what?!?!
-
Hell, I don't KNOW the difference between RAM or a Hard Drive, so yeah, I'm TOTALLY green when it comes to these things!
@ MegaIntelcore: He IS teaching those of us who ARE in preschool computer class 101. I'd much prefer to be hand held and led into this than to talk to me like I KNOW what the hell0 all this means! I don't like being talked down to, so I appreciate being shown as IF I AM in pre-school. It makes the learning so much more fun and memorable which is a GOOD thing! :-)

he looks like as if he is teaching small people in preschool

Yeah, I know. But I just couldn't resist adding my own two cents into it. Sorry. But you are indeed right, there are some out there who can't yet differentiate between the two.

Yes, we know this. RAM = Random Access MEMORY. So using Memory for short is okay. It's not like people will confuse it for the Hard drive or anything like that...well....no, nu-uh, can't happen....riiiight? Lol.
i looked at my manual,
doesn't tell me anything about my memory or what type i need.
