@larzi13 very cool. i would recomend getting a cheaper one for yourself, that looks really sharp and delicate. this could result in not going all out in your practice.

That kicker pin falling out really deters me from buying this knife. There is absolutely no excuse for that pin falling out. Period.

He's saying the website NotYourMamasKnives but they dont have this knife anymore

dude, just send it back, super glue only holds for so long, if the factory made a flaw, they should correct it, and i know this knife aint that cheap

i got this one and its already rusty? wtf how does that happen on STAINLESS STEEL?
samuraimoose 2 years ago
The name stainless steel is misleading. Stainless steel is not really stainless. Stainless steel has chromium added to it, which prevents some rusting as compared to a billet steel, or plain iron. The only true "stainless" steel is Spyderco's H1 steel. If you want to remove the rust from the knife, spray the blade down with WD40, and scrub it down with a brillow pad. Once its clean keep a layer of gun oil on the blade and try to not get it wet.
Thank you,
Danny

are you going to try and mod a spring latch in the kimura
combanator 2 years ago
Im thinking about it, I saw a video where a guy had done it and i have all the tools and supplys I would require to do it laying around my garage. Im having some problems with it now actually, my safe handle has a lot of wiggle, and my bight handle is way way to tight and i cant loosen it. so if i cant fix it ill have nothing to loose by trying to give it a spring latch.
