Autumn Mist is a former aid route up the Twin Owls formation at Lumpy Ridge, Colorado. The first free ascent of the route in 2003 by Roy Leggett at 5.12d, established a classic, completely traditionally protected route on some of Lumpy Ridge's steepest terrain. The direct finish to this line has not been attempted yet on lead.

Eli Helmuth has been an Internationally Licensed Mountain Guide since 1991 and he completed his IFMGA licensing in 2003. A resident of Estes Park, Colorado- Eli lives just minutes from the trailhead from which 'Autumn Mist' is about a 20 minutes hike to the base at the south face of the Twin Owls. This video was shot in December of 2008 on a single attempt this cold evening of linking through the upper headwall- not much progress was made!
