Portal 2 "Want You Gone" Viola Cover

Enter the debut of "He's Playing Classical Music," my new series of classical-themed remakes of Portal and Portal 2 music!

I was inspired to arrange and record this song after realizing that GLaDOS's vocal range is very similar to the range of the viola. I spent the better portion of a weekend arranging the music into a score format, ultimately spending a week and a half tweaking it and then recording each part a couple dozen times before I liked the outcome. Future arrangements will include more performers and a greater variety of instrument types.

Portal and Portal 2, as well as their characters and plot (and Source game engine as well!) all belong to Valve, and I have no affiliation with them.
