  • this is a truly outstanding piece of British cinema and one of the greatest war movies ever made

  • @MichaelSitu No offense, but you really, really cannot compare an "oldie" film to modern warfare films such as Hurt Locker. They are both in completely different leagues, and brilliant in their own ways. Not only that, but Zulu is based on true events, so you certainly, certainly cannot compare Green Zone, a complete work of fiction with modern special effects, to a film that is nearly fifty years old based on a historical battle. If you are a fan of war films, you SHOULD appreciate history.

  • I believe I have an original copy of this script - does any have any idea how I can get it valued?? willferox @ hotmail . co . uk

  • How old was Michael Caine when he was in this?

  • Imagine if the whole film was in black and white but the red coats werent, that be stylish

  • @1916jutland7 Keep in mind Dalton was NOT the one with the wounded leg. That was Ferdinand Schiess, Natal Mounted Police.

  • they really didn't need to spend like 15 minutes on the dance

  • @pleasereason Fair enough. Prince Dabulamanzi kaMpande defied direct orders from his brother the king and invaded British territory -- land given to them by their uncle, King Shaka himself. "Zulu" comes from amaZulu which means "the people from heaven." Glad I could answer that question.

  • @ImperialistRunningDo

I think the good guys are the ones NOT invading another territory under the pretense that they are superior.

  • @pleasereason That would depend on who you think the "good guys" were.
