Did you know that most U.S. states east of the Rockies face new regulations intended to reduce transport of fine particles and ozone to downwind states? As required under Clean Air Act Section 110 "good neighbor" provisions, EPA recently proposed the new Cross-State Air Pollution Rule (also known as the Transport Rule) to address air emissions from power plants that contribute to air pollution problems in downwind states.
