Alelo's Virtual Cultural Awareness Trainer (VCAT)

Alelo, Inc. has developed web-based virtual cultural awareness trainer courses called VCAT. VCAT courses use game-based technology to provide state-of-the-art training to warfighters preparing for deployment. Current regions covered include: the Horn of Africa, Northern Africa and Afghanistan.

VCAT courses focus on operational culture training. "VCAT +L" cover both culture and language training in the required lesson content. Mission-based lessons teach the cultural awareness and basic language skills needed to successfully complete the task at hand.

Courses may be access by members of the U.S. Military via the Joint Knowledge Online enterprise portal at: http://jko.jfcom.mil
