  • The edible leaf buds of the coconut is used to make "millionaire's salad". And there is a study that the coconut water from the young fruit is can be used as intravenous fluid during emergencies. I like it better as a refreshing drink, though. The virgin coconut oil has many health benefits. But I prefer getting the benefits by eating vegetables cooked in coconut milk.
