  • I know it's stupid question to ask, and I'm new to ukulele. I know that the strumming pattern for this song is D D U D D U. my question is do u have to play the full pattern before u change to other chord like C to F, or u can play half pattern. Sorry if I confuse u.

  • @AnhPaws great question. some chords will change mid-ways through the measure. in this song, chords change on beat one of the measure, but some chords change on beat three of the measure (so half way through the strumming pattern).

  • how is that teaching anyone how to do anything?

  • @rightocaito this video is meant to be accompanied with the chords over at ukulele tricks under the ukulele songs section. my goal for this video is to show a clear video angle so you can get a sense for how to play the chords changes and strumming pattern as the chords are broken down over at the website. sorry if this was unlear.
