This is my Reflective Web Media Creation for Web207/507 for Curtin University.

My video montage is an open letter to copyright holders and producers who seem to be under the false impression that audiences are faceless and passive mass who, will sit still and watch quietly, just because they tell us to. They need to understand media is a shared conversation, a work in progress. The conversion between producers and viewers/users cuts both ways.

Attention and spreadability are the new currency. As fixed, one-to-many media and single-use devices continue to lose their grip on audiences, media producers risk losing what's left of their power and control. Cultural and social media practices and technologies will continue to change the way we use and create media, so copyright law needs to adapt to meet the ever changing media landscape or risk being left behind.
