Pau Gasol should definitely be in the top 10 players of the NBA today.

Agentnono24. Your right: Gasol had a lower profile Game 5... out of a seven-game Finals. Let's give KG some credit; he played too. And KG is no doubt one of the top big guys in the game. But look at the global numbers, look at all the games, look at the rest of LA's big guys, look at Gasol's numbers and presence even during the last quarter of the series, look at the priorities in the way Boston has reinforced for this season... and look at KG numbers during the 7-game finals. @Atamleets wtf? did you see the three games in boston? especially game 5 gasol was scared to make a move in the post against garnett and was also letting garnett blow right by him for easy layups if he was more aggressive and played better defense la could have won the title in boston

Ridiculous that Gasol wasn't the MVP in the 2010 Finals. He probably doesn't sell so many t-shirts, but being he dominated the paint against the Celtics all by himself. Odom was too tired during the series and Bynum was productive for no more than 30 minutes in a whole 7 game series. Just Gasol had more points and rebounds than any two big Celtics combined. So dominant that guess the best rebounder in the Celtics? ... Rondo.

Gasol may have been soft in the past but definitely not anymore.
When you dominate Martin, Nene, and Dwight Howard you're definitely not soft. The guy was an absolute stud in the playoffs and that's why he's the best PF in the league right now.
