What exactly are the conditions for the 100% ending? Do you need to pick up 100% of the items or do you also need to scan 100%?

Just 100% items, 100% scans is for concept art mostly I believe. It may unlock other things, but I can't say for sure.

So, can you shoot the beams without ammo? I saw you do that a couple times.

Yes, you have to use the charge shot though, then it just shoots a regular beam. Basically, you can still shoot it, but you can't shoot it quickly or powerfully.

@Quadraxis14 do you know what sucsk so bad quad? i got 99% of the friggin scans, all because i missed the one time scan "vigilance class turret" when you fight those giant green cannon things first time you go to the space pirate base.

The light and dark beam ammo thing should have a system like this: in light Aether, the light beam should have unlimited ammo, and in the dark Aether, the dark beam should have unlimited ammo
