Kentucky career politician David Williams rammed through the legislature in 2005 a bill that would make him a government pension millionaire if he can get appointed or elected to a higher position in state government. So he is running for Governor. WHAS talk show host Mandy Connell asked Williams about his pension scandal at a GOP dinner in Shepherdsville KY on March 5, 2011. Williams answered by saying with a straight face that he didn't anticipate abuse of the system, blaming the problem on Governor Steve Beshear and then denying falsely that the legislature has also underfunded pensions for all state workers.
I couldn't hear anything D. Wms said. I could hear Mandy Connell just fine. I think he spoke very quietly on purpose so nobody could hear his weezil-y answer.

Keep asking ALL politicians tough pointed questions! Even in the era of the TEA Party, the incumbents have a huge advantage and are reelected over 90% of the time. These are the people who were in office during periods of huge deficit spending, and many like David Williams have been there an entire career, as small surpluses turned into huge deficits and debt. Are these REALLY the people we want to fix the problem? They CAUSED the problem!
When in doubt, vote them out!
