Most people hat Macs because of their outrageous price. But Mac OS is the best operating system I have ever used and no it does not restrict you of anything. I have had no problems with my MacBook Air and I have yet seen any viruses on my computer. I make videos and they are fast and clean, only on a Mac. If you don't have the money then sure get a PC just make sure you keep having to buy a new PC every year when they get filled with viruses and junk trail software. Macs are one of a kind.
