Bamenda is set to come alive on December 27, 2009 with a glamorous fashion show organised by Kirette Couture, a classy traditional-chic fashion label that produces exquisite handcrafted and limited edition pieces. The Bamenda Rocks! Fashion Show will showcase the underexploited cultural richness of Bamenda and create a platform for Bamenda designers to explore markets across the country and internationally.

This is a great initiative. I must admit i love this. But unfortunately i must say as long as rags of used clothes keep flowing in from europe, brilliant initiatives like this would fail. Our textile and Fashion industry will never emerge as long as used clothes picked up on the streets of eu
