I grew up watching Cyd Charisse and the breath-taking artistry of Ann. I am privileged that they were part of my boyish consciousness over sixty years ago. And we're luck - we can watch the greats anytime we want by pressing a few buttons here on YouTube.

The Great Golden Age of the American Musical. Great films of their time and place. They can never be repeated because we have lost the 'innocence' that allowed us to enjoy them for what they were. Wonderful, if with comforting nostalgia!

Who the hell could dislike this??? I never met Ann personally but judging from all the interviews I have seen, she seems like an incredibly kind and down to earth person who brought such joy to all of loved and watched her- she is wonderful here- she's lived what she's singing!

I had the pleasure of seeing Ann Miller perform in this production of Follies at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey and it was delightful. Seated directly behind me was the iconic film director Stanley Donen, who had worked with Miller, Kelly and Sinatra in On The Town, as well as directing Astaire and Hepburn in Funny Face and Cary Grant and Hepburn in Charade. He graciously provided an autograph, as did Ms. Miller. Memorable experience.

To all the people who have criticized this wonderful woman, go FUCK YOURSELVES! She recorded this at the age of 75 and for someone to even be able to get up on a stage and put on makeup and look that great at that age, is just remarkable! So, all you haters, I put this to you, when you're 75, the entire world wants to see YOU do this very same song, full makeup, dressed to the 9s, and let's just see how "GREAT" you are!
