You are so right. As a guy, I don't find talking in that manner cute or attractive in any way. Why certain women would want dumb themselves down via their speech is uncomprehending to the average guy as well. I know a girl that talks like that to me on the phone and in person but I've seen her not talk like that in her personal per group. WHY? What is the point of trying to sound like 5 year old?

You're very right about one thing though, I can, as a person with an advanced degree in science, and as someone considered "intellegent" by his peers---say that smart people IMMEDIATLY dismiss someone speaking in this "Baby Talk" as someone of lower intelegence, and not worth making an effort to know.
