Five Minute Football Fix - 11.23.2011

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

In NFL news, Kyle Orton has been cut free of the bondage in Denver. Steven wonders if he might land back with the Da Bears, but Jeff feels not with Mike Martz around. This was a money move on the Broncos but Steven feels this is a move they could have made sooner to allow Orton time to find another place to play.

The guys then tee up the Thanksgiving Day's cornucopia of football! Steven makes Jeff answer, "What's a cornucopia?" Once that's out of the way, the guys get you ready for a Thanksgiving Triple-Header like no other. With all six teams coming in off of wins, the Lions host the Packers, the Cowboys host Miami and in the HarBOWL, little brother Jim's 49ers travel to visit big brother John's Ravens in Baltimore.

The guys talk about the breaking news on the injury front for the Houston Texans as they place QB Matt Schaub on the IR. The Texans also signed former Jets backup Kellen Clemens as QB insurance and finally, Jeff's powerful rankings are up and Steven does not mean to mettle but he asks Jeff to explain the whole medal thing again.
